Constitution

1. The name of the society is Wah Yan College Alumni (Vancouver) Association. (officially changed to this name on April 22, 1992).
2. The purpose of the society is to create and maintain a social organization in British Columbia, but not to own, operate and manage a social club, for the former students of Wah Yan College, Hong Kong and Wah Yan College, Kowloon (the “Colleges”) for the following objectives (in descending order of priority) :
   1. promoting friendship and fellowship among former students of the Colleges;
   2. developing social ties with other past students associations of the Colleges;
   3. advancing the name and goodwill of the Colleges; and
   4. contributing to the growth and development of the Colleges
3. The society shall be carried on without financial gain accruing to its members, and any profits or accessions to the society shall be used solely in promoting and pursuing the above-mentioned purpose. This provision is alterable.
